Si chiama aVOID ed è la più piccola casa su ruote mai realizzata in Italia. Uno spazio abitativo di 9 mq dotato di tutti i comfort necessari al vivere quotidiano, caratterizzato da una forte adesione ai principi minimalisti e ad uno stile di vita più sostenibile. Con la sua configurazione a schiera, aVOID apre la strada allo sviluppo di “quartieri migratori” per mini case mobili all’interno di grandi metropoli. aVOID è progettata da Leonardo Di Chiara, il quale sta testando in prima persona la vita all’interno della piccola casa già a partire dalla partecipazione al #BauhausCampusBerlin.
Con l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare il pubblico nei confronti del movimento “tiny house”, ma più in generale per promuovere una discussione sulla sostenibilità dell’abitare in relazione ai bisogni della società contemporanea, aVOID è protagonista di un tour dimostrativo a tappe. Un percorso itinerante che arriverà fino a Milano in occasione della Design Week, dove il pubblico potrà testare in prima persona la piccola casa aVOID nella sua configurazione più naturale, ovvero all’interno del contesto urbano.

Named aVOID, it is the smallest house on wheels ever built in Italy. A nine-sqm living space equipped with every comfort needed for everyday life, characterized by a strong adhesion to minimalist principles and a more sustainable lifestyle. With its terraced house configuration, aVOID opens the way for the development of “migratory neighbourhoods” for small mobile homes inside big cities. aVOID is designed by Leonardo Di Chiara, which is testing himself the life inside his tiny house beginning with the participation to #BauhausCampusBerlin.
aVOID is the protagonist of a demonstrative stage tour with the aim of raising public awareness on the “tiny house” movement, but more generally to promote a discussion on the sustainability of living in relation to the needs of contemporary society. The 2018 tour will comes to Milan on the occasion of the Design Week, where the public will be able to personally witness the tiny house aVOID in its most natural configuration, that is within the urban context.
You will find aVOID at Inhabits – Milano Design City in Milano Piazza Castello, with daily visiting hours (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) from 17th until 22th April. Drop by at aVOID to test yourself what living in a tiny house on wheels means and get involved in the test-living activities and in the Tiny-Cooking Show by chef and lifestylist Yvonne Keie (tiny-lunch). But what could be the urban and productive development of the tiny house movement in Italy? And what are the restrictions by law to the creation ofMigratory neighborhoods of small houses inside big cities?
